Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs received the fifth-most votes from fans in balloting for this season’s Pro Bowl.
The NFL released on Monday the final position leaders in the fan balloting for the league’s annual all-star game in advance of the announcement of the Pro Bowl teams at 7 p.m. CST Wednesday.

The selections made by fans, players and coaches count one-third apiece toward determining the Pro Bowl rosters for the AFC and NFC teams.
Diggs received 242,900 votes from fans.
The only players who finished with more votes than Diggs were Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor with 265,370, San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa with 264,687, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce with 263,540 and 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk with 244,714.
A former Alabama standout, Diggs leads the NFL in interceptions. He picked off his 10th pass of the 2021 season in Dallas’ 21-6 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday.
The ballot for this season’s Pro Bowl included 81 players from Alabama high schools and colleges, but Diggs was the only one who topped his position in the fan voting.
In his second NFL season, Diggs would be a first-time Pro Bowl selection if he is chosen for the NFC team.
